Beautiful condition except for one small chip in the glazing at the buttom of one of the lamps, please see close-up photo. Sold without the lampshades. Hans Ancher Wolffsen (1820–1900) was a Danish architect known for his contributions to 19th-century building design in Denmark. Born in Ribe, he trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, where he graduated in 1846. Wolffsen specialized in Neo-Renaissance and Classical architectural styles, with a focus on churches, schools, and public buildings. Among his notable works are the restoration of Ribe Cathedral and the design of several prominent structures in Jutland. His work reflects a balance of traditional craftsmanship and modernity, leaving a lasting impact on Danish architectural heritage.
