A Pair of Regency Style Tole Peinte Table Lamps with Black Lampshades
About the Item
Early 20th c., a pair of Regency style tole peinte table lamps made of polychrome painted sheet metal. Each lamp is decorated with a charming female bust and lattice borders on the facing side and with an all over cream ground. The lamps have brass ball feet and are set on ebonized wood bases, each wired with single electrified socket. The retro rectangle card shades in black add a nice crisp edge to the more traditional lamp form.

27"h x 15"square (including shade)
Condition:
Good with an intentionally weathered surface. Wear is consistent with age and use. The wiring is untested.
