Pair of Rosenthal Studio Line Ceramic Table Lamps Tuscan Brown, Germany, 1960's

About the Item

This pair of Rosenthal Studio Line Table Lamps was manufactured in Bavaria in the 1960's. Renowned for their high quality porcelain products Rosenthal branched out into home-furnishings in the second half of the 20th century and this pair of ceramic lamps certainly has all the hallmarks of Mid-Century Modern design. Speaking of Hallmarks, both lamps are clearly marked on the base with the Rosenthal Logo and identified as part of the Studio Linie. The bases are glazed in Tuscan brown with a slight blue and greyish shimmer. Both lamps come with a diffuser inlay and the original cotton lamp shades which in combination emit a warm and cozy light. The lamps, diffusers and lampshades are in exceptionally good condition with no chips, tears, cracks or discolorations. Please note: While we always test our lamps and try to make sure they are in good working order, they are of a certain age and some faults may exist that were missed by us. We cannot guarantee that the lamps are in line with codes and standards in your region. We therefore recommend that you consult with a certified professional to ensure that the lamps are installed and work safely.
