About the Item
Pair of Scandinavian Modern table lamps "Skarabé" for Ateljé Lyktan. The Skarabé (Scarabé) were designed by Stig Ahlström, Clas Kock and Lars Bylund for Ateljé Lyktan, Sweden in early 1970s.
Powder coated steel in unusual Turquoise. Skarabé was usually made in black, white or red. The mirrors is adjustable to direct the halogen beam. 56 cm high and 30 cm diameter. The lamps is fully working and in very good vintage condition, minor dent on the base. (see pictures).
Ateljé Lyktan started 1936 on the east coast of Skåne to manufacture fixtures of a high standard for the public environment. Since 1977, the brand has been in the same premises, creating thoughtful lighting designs that are acclaimed around the world.
