About the Item
France, circa 1850
A pair of mid nineteenth century Samson vases, the white ground decorated with coral and blue floral decoration with gilt details, with gilt chrysanthemums to the sides and coral handles to the necks in the form of dolphins. Now mounted as lamps with giltwood bases. With historic restorations.
