About the Item
Elegant shape, the Rocket lamp was designed by Jangir Maddadi for Royal Design, Sweden, 2013.

Produced in a limited edition, nowadays, it is not in production anymore.
Rocket is a sculpture and a lamp at the same time. Sheets of perforated metal are joined to create a triangular prism of light. Jangir Maddadi's philosophy is that design should transform everyday objects into something more, into works of beauty. The combination of form and function becomes apparent when you can change the product from sculpture to lamp with a click. With the accompanying dimmer, you can further emphasize the shape of Rocket and the feeling of weightlessness. It comes in two sizes: 70 cm (28 in.) and 50 cm (20 in.)
