"Pinocchio" Desk or Wall Lamp by H.Th.J.A. Busquet
About
Designed in 1956 by Busquet, and made by Hala Zeist in the Netherlands, the "Pinocchio" is a versatile little lamp with an unostentatious but chic appearance. The black-enameled legs can slide up and down the neck of the lamp, allowing adjustability of height and angle. The orientable shade (decorated with a lovely ring of star-shaped perforations) gives additional adjustability. A small hook at the base of the neck allows the whole lamp to be hung on the wall, to be used as a wall-lamp or sconce.
