Pol Chambost Signed Model 1306 In Blue Ceramic

About the Item

Pol Chambost was a French sculptor ceramist. He was born in 1906 and studied at l'école des arts appliques where he was graduated. In the 1930's he founds an atelier of ceramic at the outskirt of Paris. After the war he exhibits in the major artistic salons of the capital. Recently an exhibition of his work was shown in the museum of poetry in south of France in Saint Emilion. Hie died in 1983 and his work is more and more internationally recognized although during his career his work was already collectible. This lamp which is offered, has a blue glazed design and represents the pure esthetics of the 1950s.
