Post Modern, Brutalist, Deconstructivist, Sculptural Lamp, Any Color. Italy

About the Item

The Marostica+Marostica lamp is part of a project entitled Break the Mold by artist Jenna Basso Pietrobon. Each lamp is unique and the lampshade direction is adjustable. The lamp is created by using a few different molds and the shapes are manipulated by the hand and collaged to each other. The standard lamp uses an off-white semi matte glaze and canvas lampshades - and there are limited edition versions where the ceramic glaze can be customized as well as the fabric for the lampshades. For the standard lamps we use canvas which references Basso Pietrobon's art practice as a painter. The project of Break the Mold is about embracing imperfections. Therefore not only will each product be unique and different from each other, but there will also be details allowing one to see the natural material of the ceramic. In addition, all measurements are approximate. Since every lamp is unique it is not possible to offer the exact measurement.
