Postmodern Blush Corrugated Cardboard Lamp by Flute, Chicago
About the Item
Corrugated cardboard lamp in a pale blush. Made by Flute, in Chicago circa 1980s. More commonly seen as vases, this one has been made into a lamp.
Structurally sound but very light weight. Some imperfections but overall in very good condition compared to others I’ve seen.
When lit the vessel emits a beautiful glow from inside and an indirect upward beam of light illuminating the walls and ceiling. Making this an excellent and uncommon mood lighting separate from your typical table lamp.
Similar to pieces made by Frank Gehry.
