Rare 1950s Angelo Ostuni Multicolored 3-Shade Table Lamp for O-Luce. An extremely rare and playful design executed in brass and painted metal by one of the most refined Italian designers of the midcentury. A highly adaptable light, each shade can rotate freely on a ball joint. Unmarked.
Angelo Ostuni was an Italian designer who was active from the 1940s onwards; he is well-known for his contribution to interior design and lighting during the Italian modernist period. His pieces are noted for their refined style, practical design, and inventive use of materials.
O-Luce was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the midcentury era. Their exceptionally refined designs have been long sought after by discerning collectors.
Accommodates 3x 60W equivalent standard candelabra base (e12) LED bulbs (LED only, not included). Professionally rewired for US electrical with new period styled US wall plug. Retains original cord and switch. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
Some age appropriate scuffs, chips, dings, nicks, patina, and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy.
