JUST ANDERSEN - DENMARK 1920s Large and rare table lamp in patinated disko metal made by Danish designer and pioneer Just Andersen in 1920s. The lamp is beautifully decorated with ornaments. Early design, Dessin D8, stamped underneath. The lamp is in good original vintage condition with patina and a beautiful attribution to both classic and modern interiors. Lampshade can be included upon request. Just Andersen (1884-1943) is a fine representative of modern Danish neoclassicalism. Just Andersen attended world exhibitions from 1918 and had several large solo exhibitions abroad. He received many awards and honors, and not least he is represented at museums around the world including the New York Metropolitan Museum.
