rare large mid century modern cocoon TABLE LAMP cherrywood base 1970s

About the Item

Exceptional large table lamp from the 1960s to 70s. No label, manufacturer most probably Goldkant-Leuchten Fritz Wauer Wuppertal Germany. The material of the cocoon shade is a kind of resin skin on a metal frame, the base is made of cherrywood. For one E27 light bulb. Very pleasant and soft lighting effect, as with all lamps of this type. Dimensions in cm: Height 55 cm, diameter shade 45 cm, height shade 23 cm. Dimensions in inches: Height 21.65", diameter shade 17.71", height shade 9.05". Weight 1.35 kg.
