Rare Maison Charles Sunflower table Lamp
About the Item
The model Tournesol or Sunflower was designed by Chrystiane Charles for Maison Charles in the 70's. .It consists of a black marble base which supports gilded brass leaves and a silvered heart sunflower. The silvered lamp shade is topped by a brass pine cone and the 2 halves of the shades are joined with a gold sim which is unique for Maison Charles atelier. The lamp was conceived with 2 tones, gold and silver in order to emphasize the majesty of the sunflower.
