This lamp is simply stunning! It captures the exuberance of mid century design! Blending elegance with atomic age splendor, we have a main light orbited by 3 smaller ones. Like an atomic nucleus with swirling protons around it!
In the fifties, many designers were creating lamps that were works of modern art! This design clearly retains the stately ingredients and proportions of a the most formal and elegant table lamp, but with this added element - orbiting lights emerging from the base - that completely modernized it!
This lamp is in very fine vintage condition with the expected patina and minor blemishes time takes on metal and marble. It truly is a modern miracle to find one of these anywhere! A marvelously rare lamp that displays beautifully!
