RARE MARVELOUS MODERNISM! REMBRANDT MID CENTURY MODERN TABLE LAMP! ATOMIC AWESOME! DIMENSIONS: HEIGHT: 29" SHADE: 18" CIRCA 1953 WOW! A 70 year old Rembrandt atomic styled modernist lamp complete with details in gold and black! You simply can't find these wonderful Rembrandt lamps anymore! Rembrandt billed their designs as "Rembrandt Lamps- Masterpieces" and when the modern movement arrived, they were there in a big way with lamps that were simply works of modern art! Custom cast metal pieces made these designs so special. These lamps were expensive new, and production was never as high as their lesser quality competition. The result is that now these lamps are becoming impossible finds. Now that brash mid century optimism and outrageousness makes them even more wonderful than when they were new! This one is in very fine vintage condition with the expected patina and minor blemishes time takes on metal and enamel. It truly is a modern miracle to find one this nice! Displays beautifully!
