Rare Prototype Aluminium Desk Lamp by Peter Nelson 1960s
About the Item
Very rare unique desk lamp This is a prototype lamp - a one off - designed by Peter Nelson and manufactured by Architectural Lighting Ltd.
A beautiful, very good quality, well engineered lamp made from aluminium with a billet aluminium switch housing and base. The conical shade is adjustable and can be moved into various position as shown in the photos.
This lamp is a one off as it is a prototype that never went into production, it is from the estate of Peter Nelson.
In good working order and good condition.
In good over all condition, small amount of wear to the finish of the point of the conical shade as can be seen in the photo.
Shade measures 17cm long 7cm diameter.
