Visionary Paul Laszlo designed this mid-century table lamp for Brown Saltman during the 1950s in the United States. It has a wood body adorned with Laszlo's chest pattern, reminiscent of his famed "Basket Weave" furniture line. Laszlo studied architecture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest. Throughout his career, Laszlo worked on various projects ranging from private residences to hotels, clubs, and corporate spaces.
