About the Item
A striking example of mid-century Black Forest craftsmanship, this sculptural vintage antler table lamp dates to the 1950s and is composed of a large, naturally patinated fallow deer antler. The antler is positioned on its side, showcasing its asymmetrical form and richly textured surface—hallmarks of traditional Black Forest decor and an enduring symbol of rustic alpine design.
Suspended in contrast is a frosted glass globe pendant, which emits a soft, diffused light. The globe is anchored by a heavy, blackened steel chain—offering a subtle nod to brutalist lighting design while maintaining harmony with the organic base. The overall effect is both raw and refined, making the lamp equally suited to rustic lodge interiors or minimalist spaces seeking an injection of naturalistic sculptural lighting.
Professionally restored and in very good vintage condition, with light surface wear to the antlers appropriate to its age and material.
