Created by the esteemed French atelier Samson & Cie, this vase is an exquisite homage to the famed Iznik ceramics of the Ottoman Empire. Its baluster form, adorned with delicate handles, is richly decorated with intricate saz leaves, hatayi flowers, and carnations in a vibrant palette of blue, red, and green. These motifs, inspired by 16th-century Iznik designs, highlight the refined tastes of 19th-century Western collectors.
