Sapphire Blue Crystal Lamp Base Gilded Bronze
About the Item
Sapphire blue crystal lamp base gilded bronze. The crystal pieces come from one of the oldest glass houses in Paris, the Maison König, rue pastourelle. Unfortunately, this house no longer exists, but its crystals cut into different facets were collected and mounted by a bronze worker with recent bronze pieces. This model is mounted with silver bronzes.

Additions or alterations made to the original: The crystals are old and were mounted in the 80's by a bronzier who uses new bronzes but made in the style of the time. The crystal pieces come from one of the oldest glass houses in Paris, the Maison König, rue pastourelle. Unfortunately, this house no longer exists, but its crystals cut into different facets were collected and mounted by a bronze worker with recent.
