About the Item
A sculptural modernist table lamp, constructed from eight elliptical brass spheres resting on a dome-shaped base. Produced by an unidentified Swedish manufacturer in the 1960s. It features a standard E27 lamp holder and a cord-mounted switch. A conical rattan lampshade is included. The varying sizes of the spheres and the mirror-polished finish make this fixture an eye-catching piece—minimalistic yet elegant. The shape of the spheres resembles the super-egg, a three-dimensional geometric form created by Danish architect and mathematician Piet Hein.
