About the Item
This handcrafted bronze table lamp features an abstract tree trunk column with sculpted leaves and a small bronze giraffe sculpture standing at its base. I model each detail - particularly the giraffe and foliage - in wax by hand before casting, making every lamp a true original as no mold is made. Using the lost wax method, I sculpt, cast, chase, and finish each piece myself, blending natural motifs with refined craftsmanship. The result is a distinctive, sculptural lamp that stands out as a statement piece - both functional and artistic. Patinas may vary. Lampshade not included. All table lamps are unique and made to order by hand.
This lamp is part of a growing collection of functional bronze art. While each lamp, candelabra or table are unique, similar pieces can be commissioned or created as a pair.
Upon receipt of order, the sculpting and casting take place at my Black Dog Foundry. Shipping from South Africa is approximately 4–6 weeks after placement of order.
