A Sculptural RUSTIC MODERN BRUTALIST Ceramic TABLE LAMP, VALLAURIS, France 1950

About the Item

A very large, spectacular and sculptural, table or floor lamp with 2 lights and 2 handles, Modernist, Free Form, Popular Art, Shabby-Chic, unique piece in thick ceramic with brown and bluish shades with a generous openwork body on a luminous relief (by a second internal lighting) with double stylized handles, a real artist's piece, signature (Freder? Tieder?) to be identified under the base, France 1950. The colors, dimensions and quality of construction of this piece are obviously reminiscent of Les 2 Potiers... But the openwork body on an interior appendage with backlighting evokes the luminous creations of Georges Pelletier... The signature remains to be identified. SOLD WITH OR WITHOUT LAMPSHADE. SIZE & FRAGILITY OF THIS PIECE REQUIRES A SHIPPING IN 2 SEPARATED PARCELS. A SALE WITHOUT LAMPSHADE MAY REDUCE THE SHIPPING COST SIGNIFICANTLY. DIMENSIONS: 84 x 55 cm with lampshade in photo... 66 x 35 x 20 cm without lampshade...
