About the Item
Set of 2 table lamps or desk lamps from Maison Le Dauphin, model Frugère, late 1960s early 1970s. Often attributed to Maison Charles, these Hollywood Regency style lamps have a rectangular black base that is accentuated by brass details and foot. On top is a brass bowl with three crystal fruit pieces, reminiscent of the classic vintage pineapple lamps.
The lampshades are not original and are optional.
The lamps have new fittings and have been rewired. One lamp is missing the crown of the pineapple and the other has a leaf from the bunch of grapes. In one lamp, age-related damage to the brass is also more visible (see photos). These small imperfections do not detract from their charming appearance.
Whether in the living room, bedroom or entrance hall, these lamps add timeless charm and warm, atmospheric light to any room.
