Set of 2 Mid-Century Italian Space Age Table Lamps, 1960s

About the Item

Imposing Space Age table lamps from Italy. A minimalist design with a special surface. These lamps are not only a functional light source. The reflective surface makes them an imposing luminous object at the same time. The luminaire consists of a simple tube that is open on the top. In the middle, there is an additional rectangular cut-out. Inside, there is a socket that is covered with a chrome coloured sleeve. The highly polished aluminium surface reflects the surroundings and blurs the contours of the luminaire body. These luminaires are predestined for head-mirrored light sources. In this way, the design is shown to its best advantage. European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
