Set of large white opaline glass lamps designed by Svend Aage Holm Sørensen in the 1960s. Impressive set for a beautiful home.
* A pair (2) of large white opaline glass table lamps / small floor lamps with brass foot and neck and white fabric shades. The lamps are mouth-blown and thus slight different.

* Condition: Very good vintage condition. Only few small marks. The brass parts have darkened from age. The shades are new, produced in Denmark.

Svend Aage Holm Sørensen (1913-2004) was a Danish industrial designer and architect educated from he Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, who made significant contributions to the development of modernist design in Denmark.
Holm Sørensen's designs were characterized by their simplicity, elegance, and functionality, and he was particularly known for his work in lighting design. He was a true master of modernist design, and his work was characterized by his experimental approach to materials and form.
