Silver plated Graduated & Fluted Corinthian column “presentation” lamp.
About the Item
Good quality silver plated graduated and fluted corinthian column lamp.
Converted a Victorian oil lamp on a stepped and gadrooned base having a tapering column topped with a corinthian head.
Bares the inscription:
“Presented by Rowland Hunt Esq. To Mr E. Cooper. For the Best Bitch Puppy Walked for the Wheatand 1892”
English, Circa 1880
Height to top of bulb holder: 19 3/4 inches
Width at base: 6 1/8th Inches.
Wired and PAT tested for the U.K.
Cured off polished patina to surface and a few marks/imperfections to metal.
Overall fair condition for age.
