About the Item
Rare sculptural table lamp by Hans von Klier, designed during the 1980s for Bilumen Italy:
This statement piece consists of a conical shaped metal base, supporting a metal sphere on which the opaque diffusor rests. The diffusor can be tilted and rotated.
The metal parts are completely untreated, uncoated and raw. Signs of age and use are present in the form of scuffs, scratches and minor dents, giving the lamp its unique character and personality.
The plastic diffusor was polished to have any visible scratches removed, ensuring an even, diffused glow.
We have replaced any faulty wiring and installed a new 1970s design power switch by Achille Castiglioni.
The lamp takes one E26 / E27 screw-in bulb. Suitable for the US power grid.
