About the Item
Rare Space Age table lamp by the Italian manufacturer Francesconi based on a design by Adalberto Dal Lago and Adam Thiani from the 70s.
The contrast in the shape and color of the shade and base is striking. The umbrella flows smoothly into the shaft and ends in the hemispherical base. The head can rotate around itself. The light can be adjusted individually. A special detail is the wire glass panel that closes the front of the umbrella. A material with an industrial feel. The lower area of the glass is satinized on the inside to protect against glare from the lamp. The disc is surrounded by a black rubber seal. There is a perforation on the back of the umbrella. This serves to dissipate heat. Its radial arrangement also has a decorative character.
The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina.
