About the Item
Unique hand made piece from UK Bristol designer and sculptor, Sam Rush.
Made of gas brazed stainless steel and brass. By using traditional techniques of the period it gives this piece the solid yet subtle authenticity otherwise lost.
The playful homage to the 1950's sci-fi movies means that this piece will never become dated and given the quality of the materials used, this desk lamp will live on beyond us all.
Each piece varies slightly, (that being the nature of hand made and not factory produced thus should be considered as functional art.
PLEASE NOTE. The lamp in the video is a slightly smaller version of the main photographs and is available for immediate dispatch. Proportions for the videoed lamp are as follows.

In Orbit, is a playful look at ceiling lights, leaning heavily on a early 20th century expectation of space travel. This ceiling light ever entertains with three rockets orbiting the moon (respect is due here to Antoine de Saint-Exupery) whilst serving the purpose of lighting a room from 3 x bulbs.
