Lovingly hand-crafted by Amitābha Studio from a vintage Alfonso Otero Regal Picasso-esque botella or ceramic bottle vase. The ceramic base, made in Galicia, Spain, is a striking example of Alfonso Otero Regal’s distinctive figural ceramics. Shaped like a stylized woman, the vase rises in an elongated form with rounded arms and a circular head-like motif at the neck. Subtle sgraffito incisions add texture and tactility to the matte surface, balancing graphic energy with artisanal precision. The result is a modernist female figure rendered in abstract form—both sculpture and vessel.
Amitābha Studio has paired the base with a bespoke cylindrical lampshade in navy Japanese cotton, patterned with calligraphic script and finished with a warm gold lining.
