Spectacular Pair of Sheffield Fluted Columnar Banquet Lamps
About the Item
An impressive pair of large silver plated candlestick or banquet lamps in the Neoclassical style with Corinthian columns, probably Sheffield, with scrollwork capitals, converted to two-light table lamps with glass font. The unsigned pair with base switches date to the late 19th or early 20th century in very good condition, with some tarnish discoloration, surface wear, and other imperfections commensurate with age and use. Includes matching shades. Dimensions: Overall with shades: 36.5 in H x 12.75 in diameter, with 6.13 inch square bases. A great addition to any living room decor! Ref: 11
