One of my favorite lamps. I love the atomic mace-like sputnik starburst ball of spikes seeming to hover above the crisp round brass conical base.
It is unclear who originally made it. Some say Laurel or Stiffel. I believe it was Mutual Sunset Lamp Company but have yet to find documentation.
My only grievance with the original is that the material was not real brass; it was cast aluminum with a brass finish which is prone to wear off and show unsightly blotches of the underlying silver metal.
So, we decided to re-create the lamp out of solid brass as it always should have been.
Ta dah!
Solid brass head to toe. Polished to a mirror finish. Even nickel plated.
For lamping we have chosen to use solid brass body cluster on 6 inch high stem with double pull chain E26 sockets on swivels with a 5 inch adjustable shade riser, 8 feet clear silver or gold cord with plug and cord switch.
(If your preference is for different lamping we will do our best to accommodate you.)
Each lamp is 26 inches high to where the shade ring rests and 18 inches high to where the lamping begins. Lamp base is 5 inches diameter.
Recommended drum shade size 9 inches high by 12 inches diameter +/- (not included)
Price shown is for one lamp.
We are also happy to offer the option of two tone where the spike ball is in a contrasting finish from the lamp base and stem. Let us know if you would like a polished nickel spike ball with your polished brass lamp or a polished brass spike ball with your polished nickel lamp.

We mostly use a polished brass or polished nickel plated body cluster with double Edison sockets with with a six inch stem and height adjustable finial mount.
We can also fit with single keyturn sockets and and a harp collar.
