About the Item
A fabulous restored pair of large-scale lamps from a difficult to find series produced by Chapman, circa 1993. The stunning twisted solid brass form evokes a flame, mounted atop a chunky Lucite plinth. One of the most coveted designs in the Chapman archive. Heavy, beautifully made pieces. Exquisite jewelry! Excellent restored condition. The sculptures have been professionally cleaned and polished; the brass demonstrates exceptional patina, depth and luster. Rewired using clear gold-tone cord; new three-way socket inserts with brass turn switch (original brass socket sleeve with Maker mark and date remain). Complete with new silk shades (color: Sand Silk; size: 17 x 18 x 12 inches high) and twisted solid brass finials. Width and depth noted are per the base, the height noted is to the top of the finial. The price listed is for the pair.
