About the Item
The beautiful light tan or egg shell tint of the porcelain and brass Stiffels is stunning. I think this treatment is one of their hallmarks that stands the test of time. These lamps were produced in the second quarter of the 20th century, yet they are still beautiful and seem unaffected by time.
One is of ovoid shape with egg-shell or light tan glazing, brass mounts and finials that were changed out later.
Both feature the neutral light tan palette that will complement many settings. The ceramic bulbous bodies surmounted by a stepped cylindrical pillar and on shaped footed bases. The light glazing imparts elegance and a freshness of design. The brass base could use a bit of cleaning if you prefer a shiny brass finish. These lamps are quite heavy.

This pair of gilt and ivory hand painted lamps is unique because they share a similar palette. The colors are neutral with shades of green, white, yellow and grey. Each lamp is from the second third of the 20th century and they are assembled here to create a great opportunity for statement lighting.
One lamp features a single hand painted gardenia with a signature that reads W. H. Tonn. It is from an American workshop, according to the appraiser. It is 30.5 inches tall and 6 inches deep and wide at the base.

Vintage Signed Ivory White Porcelain and Gilt Hand Painted Table Lamp
Located in Lomita, CA
This lamp is so special, so elegant and hard to find. The palette is attractive in ivory with leaves in various shades of green and gray that appear to be falling on this vintage botanical hand-painted porcelain vasiform table lamp. This is attributed to Europe from the mid 20th century.
There is a signature painted with a brush near the base of the lamp. The lamp's base is porcelain with gilt trim that is wearing in some sections. The plug is older and dates to mid-century or earlier. It presents well with an added white shade that is not included. It measures 33 inches tall from base to finial and 5 inches by 5 inches wide. The lamp's harp is old and unattractive with deep oxidation, and it will be replaced before delivery unless the buyer asks otherwise.

The Stiffel lamp is eggshell color and ovoid shape. The contrast of the burnished brass and the light tan porcelain is beautiful. The circumference of the lamp is decorated with two green stripes. But a standout feature of this American classic is the tiger eye base. Stunning. There is a light tan glazing on the porcelain and the palette is neutral and versatile in a number of design plans. This Stiffel lamp was manufactured in America between 1925 and 1950.
