Stillux Table Lamp on Black Marble Base Italy 1960's
About the Item
Rare small table lamp, manufactured by Stilux Milano, 1950's Italy.
The shade of the lamp is in black metal with perspex reflector hold by three pins. Perspex was a new and innovative material at that time. The lamp stands on a solid and high black marble round base. The rod it is attached by brass ball-joints on both sides of the stem which enables the shade to rotate and pivot. The lamp is in very good original condition.
Stilux was one of the most innovative lighting design companies in Italy during the Mid-Century era. Their designs have been long sought after by collectors.
