The shade is new produced in Denmark. * Dimensions, inc. shade (H x W): 48cm x 26cm * Dimensions, ex shade (H x W): 33cm x 15cm * Light source: E26/E27 screw bulb, max 60W * Ready-to-use with a brown twisted fabric cord and switch on the socket ****************** Svend Aage Holm Sørensen (1913-2004) was a Danish industrial designer and architect educated from he Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, who made significant contributions to the development of modernist design in Denmark. Holm Sørensen's designs were characterized by their simplicity, elegance, and functionality, and he was particularly known for his work in lighting design. He was a true master of modernist design, and his work was characterized by his experimental approach to materials and form. He was known for his innovative use of materials such as glass, wood, metal, and even flame cut brass, which he combined in unexpected and striking ways to create unique and memorable designs. Holm Sørensen's legacy as a designer continues to be celebrated today, and his designs remain popular with collectors and enthusiasts of modernist design around the world.
