About the Item
Minimalist Modern Spanish Folding Desk Lamp by Enrique Aparicio for Gabinete de Estudios Industriales from 1961. With its low profile, when closed, this metal lamp is the perfect desk lamp. Its heavy black enameled base ensures that the lamp won't tip over and its spacious bowl is a great catch-all. When closed, the electric cord goes inside the base and the lamp looks like a disc with its mirror polished chrome top. A on-off switch is on the side of the top. A pair of chrome arms will dictate the positioning of the light source. Its light comes from a pair of 15w. appliance bulbs.
Measurements: 7 1/4 inches diameter x 2 3/4 inches high closed x 13 1/2 inches high completely opened.
Condition: Very Good Condition. Top rechromed to a mirror finish. Original wiring with adapters added to sockets. When completely closed electric cord stores inside.
