'Synergy' Table Lamps in Dark Patina, European, Contemporary by Margit Wittig
About the Item
These sculptural contemporary Margit Wittig table lamps are mounted on rectangular slate bases and feature multiple white resin handcrafted cuboids, spheres and semi-circles with organic surface textures.
Interspersed with the shapes are brass components to emphasize the contrast of the different materials and geometrical forms. The simplistic style of these lamps is contemporary yet sophisticated. Sculpted and cast by Margit Wittig in her London studio.
Margit Wittig is inspired by modern artists and sculptors such as Giacometti and Ivon Hitchens. Her work is constantly evolving using different textures as the driving force, intertwined with her work with color. Her functional art spreads the gamit from modern simplicity to rich and complex designs and color. Her pieces are placed with collectors around the globe.
Please note: Although our lights are wired using UL listed components for the US, each light fitting is not UL listed.

Margit Wittig
London based artist, Margit Wittig creates bespoke lighting and occasional furniture. All pieces are hand-made and through her work Margit allows her clients to evoke a narrative to express their own taste and style in their interiors. Although the work is contemporary, it is often blended into classically styled interiors. Margit’s work can best be described as versatile, functional art although she is an artist, sculptor and painter by training. Kit Kemp of Firmdale Hotels – think New York’s Whitby Hotel and London’s Ham Yard - describes Margit’s work as ‘curious, intriguing, classical yet lyrical’. All of her lighting, furniture and accessories are made to order and come in resin, some with touches of hand-blown glass.
Can be ordered as a single table lamp.
Can be purchased with or without the lamp shade, price will vary.
The measurements of hight and width include the lamp shade.
Can be cast in different colour options and hight, please enquire.
