Table Lamp Cobridge Poppy and Ice Vase High Blue Red Green White Anita Harris

About the Item

Cobridge, poppy and ice pattern, hand painted vase converted into a table lamp on a perspex base, 10½ “ high One of Cobridge Pottery’s most popular patterns, designed by artist Anita Harris, leading designer at Cobridge, Moorcroft & her own studio - Beautiful, lively, naturalistic pattern with an impressionistic quality diffusing and softening the poppies and ice into the sky blue background. - Each vase is handpainted, reflecting the painter’s hand and interpretation of the pattern. On this vase the pattern is pared down on this vase to a minimal quality - Juxtaposes with period interiors and blends into modern and contemporary schemes. - Exquisitely painted, most likely by Anita Harris, marked AH © 03 underneath. - The tones of blue, red, green and titanium white are warm and harmonise with most colour schemes. - The conversion is recent so it conforms to UK electrical standards. - Provenance : Private Collection. Collected for the subtle differences of the painting on each vase reflecting the hand of different artists or a different interpretation by the same artist. - Can be sold as a collection or individually. Measures: Height: Vase 17cm., 10 ½ inches and 38 cm., 15 inches to top of electrical fitting Diameter: 11 cm., 4¼ inches.
