About the Item

MULLER FRÈRES – LUNÉVILLE Stunning mushroom lamp in cameo glass A rare and elegant mushroom lamp by Muller Frères, made in Lunéville in the early 20th century. The Muller brothers, active between 1895 and 1935 and originally trained in Émile Gallé’s workshop, are renowned for their refined Art Nouveau glassware. This model features a baluster-shaped base with three hot-formed notches. A wrought iron frame with three arms supports the original conical shade. The lamp is crafted from multi-layered cameo glass, with a dark brown top layer over a milky-white base, accented with orange highlights. The etched decoration shows a serene snowy mountain landscape, delicately acid-engraved in the Art Nouveau tradition. Signed on both the base and the shade. In excellent condition
