Paul Laszlo (1900-1993) was a Hungarian-born American interior designer known for his luxurious and influential work during the mid-20th century. He became a prominent figure in Hollywood's Golden Age, designing elegant interiors for celebrities, wealthy clients, and prominent institutions. Laszlo studied architecture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest. In 1927, he moved to the United States and settled in Los Angeles, where he quickly established himself as a sought-after designer.
