About the Item
Sculptural and poetic, the Théros Orbita table lamps combine a minimalist aesthetic with artisanal craftsmanship. Designed by Aristotelis Barakos in collaboration with ceramicist Giannis Zois, these new pieces extend the ongoing Théros collection — a design journey inspired by Mediterranean light, memory, and tradition.
Each lamp features a slender, engraved stoneware base, a glowing opalina glass globe, and a handwoven straw hat, recalling timeless summer imagery from Greece. The engraved rings on the ceramic body create a tactile rhythm and subtle play of light, emphasizing the contrast between glazed and unglazed surfaces.
Handmade in Athens, the Théros Orbita is available in two sizes (40 cm and 50 cm) and produced as an open edition. Its neutral palette and sculptural silhouette make it a versatile object that blends seamlessly into contemporary interiors, while carrying with it the emotional resonance of Mediterranean summers.
This lamp can be customized after request to work in any country.
