About the Item
This playful desk light is in appreciation of 1950's Sci-fi movies.
Newer additions can include a hexagonal stop sign... and with our love of all things American, which includes just a few bullet holes.
This lamp is made of stainless steel and brass and made to last. The car is die cast and of a model type consistent with the place and period.
Sam Rush is a Bristol (UK) based designer and fabricator, trained in metal sculpture. He does not outsource the fabrication, choosing to make each model himself in his own studio.
As each piece is individual, minor variations are inevitable but can also be specified on ordering, such as a name, date etc.
PLEASE NOTE. The UFO lamp in the video is current and able to be dispatched immediately. There are some minor differences to the stock photos, namely the car type and the addition of the "stop" sign (including bullet holes in case there were any doubt that this wasn't a USA themed lamp).
It is worth noting that these lamps should really be considered as functional art, and that no two are the same. to which end, minor additions can be accommodated, such as dates, or names for example.
