About the Item

Sculptural stoneware table lamp by danish artist Gunver Bilde Sørensen (1931-2018) It's made at her own ceramic work-shop in Denmark circa 1970s The slightly rustic texture of the chamotte clay covered with matte reddish brown glaze is contrasted by the heart-shaped decoration with glossy gray glaze. A beautiful representative of Danish mid-century ceramic design. Height incl. shade 37.5 cm Height incl. socket 27 cm Height ceramic part only 22 cm Diameter lamp base 9 cm Diameter lamp shade ca. 20 cm Sign. Bilde Included is a new clip-on lamp shade designed and made in Denmark. It is made of woven fabric with some texture and it is off white. It has a top cover so it will spread a cozy light downwards. Excellent used condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Light bulb: For type E26/E27 Edison screw-fitting. The lamp is made for Scandinavian outlet. If you use other plugs in your country you can either use an adapter or exchange it with a plug used in your country.
