About the Item
Exquisitely handcrafted by Amitābha Studio in Amsterdam from a vintage Velsen, Delft White (Delfts Wit) vase, Acanthus is a stunning addition to our blue and white series of one-of-a-kind table lamps. The lamp's base, created from a cherished Dutch pottery piece, features a unique shape that beautifully catches the light, adding elegance and charm to any space.
We've paired the base with a new custom-made lampshade crafted from limited edition Morris & Co. fabric. Originally designed by William Morris, a founder of the Arts & Crafts movement, this much-loved 1875 design showcases scrolling layers of acanthus foliage, printed on a luxurious cotton/linen blend to create a dramatic three-dimensional effect. The lamp is completed with a custom blue cord, enhancing its fresh and timeless appeal.
Perfect for a fresh maximalist interior or a coastal interior, Acanthus is not just a lamp but a statement piece that brings history and craftsmanship into contemporary living. The lamp was created without harming the original vase in any way.
We also ensure compatibility for global use by offering a free plug customization service to match the electrical standards of your specific country.
