1980s black metal and plastic table lamp by Belux. Made in Spain. Very heavy metal base and swivel fixture. In good condition with some wear to plastic.
This vintage industrial desk lamp is manufactured by the industrial designer Guillermo Capdevila Abatte. The sturdy swivel headlamp is very well crafted and gives a very warm light. Guillermo Capdevila Abatte ( 1947-1999 ) was a Chilean industrial designer established in Spain. He is considered the pioneer of industrial design in the Basque Country since his time at the Vizcaya Industrial Design Center in the mid -1980s.
