This is a vintage ebonised side lamp. An Oriental, Japanned desk or table light, dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1930.
Wonderful ebonised lamp base with charming decor
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Ebonised and turned pine with a wide circular base
Supplied with a quality shade in a tasteful champagne hue
Decorated with red and gold painted figure to the column
Circumference of the base hosts foliate and architectural motif
Base accepts a small bayonet bulb and dressed with a quality length of cable
