About the Item
A pair of vintage ceramic ginger jar lamps decorated in a Masons Nabob style. The ceramic jar is decorated with pink, blue and yellow ranunculus flowers with scrolls of blue, green, and browns on a cream ground. The design is mirrored front and back. A brass on wood base and brass bulb socket are decorated with a floral nod.
New cotton muslin pleated shades in sapphire blue highlight the lovely blue shades in the jar. The shades are in a classic tapered silhouette with a white interior to amplify the light.
Dimensions:
Lamp: 6.5" base diameter x 16"h to bulb socket
Shade: 11" diameter (top) x 10.5"h x 14" diameter (bottom)
Overall height with shade is 24.75"
Condition:
Good. Shades are new and unused. The lamps show well with some crazing to ceramic consistent with age and use. Wiring has not been professionally tested.

20th c., classic white porcelain ginger jars with white floral decoration, mounted as lamps, on pierced hardwood stands, unmarked. The scale of these lamps is impressive without being overscaled. They are not being sold with shades as the choice of shade is a personal one but I did try them with silk pleated kelly green and they were stunning.

Jar only 16" H x 9" W
Total lamp height to top of finial 32.5" H.
Condition:
Good, metal lamp mounts, harps, and finials with finish wear and pitting
